I grew up with a lot of different styles of music, such as the Beastie Boys, but also André Hazes (a famous Dutch singer). When I could not sleep, my father used to turn on the radio in my room so that I would fall asleep.
When I got older, I started listening to even more styles of music, such as artists like J. Cole, but also Jimi Hendrix.
At a certain point I got into a DJ group called the ‘Spoelboys’, where we got taught how to perform as a dj. I enjoyed this so much, because instead of only listening to music, I could also ‘make’ my own music. I took this further, and started playing individually at parties in my student city, Eindhoven. I now enjoy playing at parties a lot, and I hope to perform at many more parties.
